Celebrating our Staff

Congratulations to Stephanie LoBiondo, school counselor at Milford High School, for her role as the President of the Delaware School Counselor Association (DSCA).  She has been a board member of DSCA for five years and holds the position of Vice President of the North Atlantic Region (11 states) of American School Counselors Association (ASCA).  No one in the 45 year history of DSCA has ever been a board member of ASCA.  She is one of five Regional Vice Presidents of ASCA.

A great deal of thanks goes out to our school nurses; Jackie Wolfe, Sue Smith, Kim Cole, Terry Stokes, Susan Shank, Renate Wiley and Jill Carroll who successfully orchestrated the vaccinations of H1N1 to the students.  With no established model for mass vaccinations, our nurses organized and implemented plans to successfully vaccinate over 1750 children with parental permission.

Don Parsley received his 200th career win as the Head Wrestling Coach when the wrestling team defeated Laurel 48-17.

Bob Kime received a $1,000.00 donation from Rehoboth Buddy Walk to use in the classroom.  Also, he received a $250.00 donation from Meyers Racing Stables to use for "T" Shirts.

Sharon Greenly received a Certificate of Appreciation from Blood Bank of Delmarva for recognition as a four-gallon donor.  Also, Sharon was invited to conduct a workshop titled “Tips for Successful Parent-Teacher Conferences with Bilingual Families” at the Enhancing A Child’s World Conference XII on November 14, 2009 at Delaware Technical & Community College.
