School Nutrition

The Milford School District is committed to protecting and enhancing the health and well being of students. One important way in which all Milford Schools contribute is to provide students with nutritious and appetizing meals served courteously, in a sanitary and pleasant dining environment.

A new meal benefit form must be completed each year. Only one form needs to be completed for ALL children in your household. The cut-off date at the beginning of the year for submitting the meal benefit form is October 1, 2007. You may return your meal benefit form to the Child Nutrition Manager at your child's school.

Breakfast! The Smart way to start the day! Breakfast will be served daily at No CHARGE to ALL students in the Milford School District.

The Milford School Nutrition Services works very hard to offer our students tasty menu selections that meet or exceed the USDA Guidelines. Lunch prices per day for the District are as follows:

NEW:  Paying $20.00 increments equals 1 bonus meal on your child's account.  Pre-payment on your child's account prevents forgotten or lost money, saves money, provides faster service so your child has more time to enjoy thier meal.  Monies will be accepted throughout the school year, and may be used to purchase lunch or a-la-carte items.  Reminder:  any remaining monies cannot be refunded after the end of school in June.  Limited charging is allowed in all schools.  A fee of $50.00 plus the check amount will be billed to parents for returned checks.  Failure to respond in 10 days will result in NO FUTURE payments by check until debt is satisfied and the parent's name may be reported to the Delaware Attorney General's office.
